I have been struggling with a downcast spirit and overall negative attitude.
Here are verses I am committing to memory this month to help me in my sin.
"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down"
Proverbs 14:1
"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
Proverbs 17:22
"Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him."
Proverbs 22:15
"Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty or riches, but give me only my daily bread."
Proverbs 30:8

Thanks for your recent comment on my blog! How encouraging that you know people from Odessa. I commented on their blog and would LOVE to meet them when I get back. They are like an answer to prayer for me! The language will be a barrier for awhile and I want to get to know Justin's heart so much. He is such a funny kid with so much to say. He is great at sign language(our own signs) but that doesn't help in knowing what he is thinking and finding out if he is afraid or wanting me to know something from his heart. :) I also love these verse, I need to memorize them right now too. I am really missing my family back home right now.
